Product description
PuraPlus Square Hole Composite Decking
PuraPlus is the wider-profile variant of the square-hollow composite board, sitting one step up from the entry tier. The extra width per board reduces the number of joints across a typical deck and shortens installation time, both of which matter on larger projects. It carries the same square-chambered hollow construction as the entry-tier board but with the proportions that suit larger terraces and more open garden layouts.
Silver Ash is a soft, weathered-looking pale grey with hints of warmth, the closest match to driftwood or weathered timber. It softens contemporary builds and lifts shaded courtyards under our typical overcast skies.
Why a wider board?
On a generous deck, fewer joints means a cleaner visual line, fewer expansion gaps to fall into, and faster handling on site. The wider profile also looks more proportionate against contemporary architecture, where standard-width boards can read as slightly fussy. Underfoot the feel is the same as the standard PuraPlus board: sound, solid, and grain-textured for slip resistance.
Installation guidance
Hidden clip system on joists at 350 mm centres or tighter, with composite expansion gaps in both directions. Wider boards benefit from particularly even joist spacing, since any inconsistency shows up more visibly across a larger surface. The PuraPlus installation manual covers joist tables, clip systems, and detailing at perimeters and steps.
Care & maintenance
Periodic wash and brush, no oiling or staining. The Silver Ash finish settles into its long-term tone within the first year. The PuraPlus care guide covers approved cleaning products and what to avoid.
