Legacy PuraTech Composite Corner Trim
The matching corner trim for the legacy PuraTech cladding range, in stock alongside the original boards. Composite construction in Ipé, sized to wrap external corners on a legacy PuraTech cladding run cleanly. The legacy range is being sunset over time, but the corner trim remains in active production and supply for ongoing projects.
Ipé takes its name from the South American hardwood it imitates, a deep, warm chocolate-brown with the kind of richness that grounds a high-end scheme. It carries the most depth in the wood-tone range and weathers slowly to an even tone.
What it does
External corners are the most visually exposed detail on a clad elevation. The corner trim covers the joint where two cladding planes meet, hiding the cut ends of both boards and giving the corner a single clean line consistent with the rest of the run. The legacy trim profile differs from the current PuraTech ranges, so it is matched to the legacy boards specifically.
Installation guidance
Fixed to the substrate at the corner before cladding boards are run into it, with stainless fixings into pre-drilled pilot holes. The PuraTech installation manual covers legacy corner trim detailing alongside the current ranges.
