Product description
PuraTech Composite End Trim
The end trim for the current PuraTech cladding range, profiled to terminate cladding runs at openings, abutments, and exposed terminations cleanly. Composite construction in matched Ipé, designed to disappear into the cladding line rather than draw attention to itself.
Ipé takes its name from the South American hardwood it imitates, a deep, warm chocolate-brown with the kind of richness that grounds a high-end scheme. It carries the most depth in the wood-tone range and weathers slowly to an even tone.
What it does
Cladding runs end somewhere: at a window opening, a door reveal, a return corner, or a clean horizontal line at sill or coping level. Without a purpose-made end trim, the cut end of every board is visible, which on composite cladding shows the core material rather than the finished face. The end trim covers that cut end and gives the termination a single clean line consistent with the rest of the elevation.
Installation guidance
Fixed before the cladding boards are run into it, with stainless fixings into pre-drilled pilot holes through the trim’s fixing flange. The PuraTech installation manual covers end trim detailing at all common termination conditions, including window reveals, door heads and jambs, and horizontal abutments.
