PuraFence Post Cap
The post cap for the PuraFence H-profile fence post, fitted to the top of the post once the panel and rail set are installed. Plastic construction in a colour matched to the PuraFence post finish, designed to seal the open top of the H-profile against rainwater ingress and finish the post visually at the top edge of the fence line.
What it does
The H-profile post is open at the top by design, since that’s how the panel kit slots in. Once the panel is in place, the open profile collects rainwater. The post cap closes that opening, preventing water from sitting inside the post and finishing the post line at the visible top edge of the fence. Without the cap, water pooling inside the post will eventually freeze, expand, and cause damage to either the post itself or whatever is set in the ground around it.
Installation guidance
Pressed onto the top of the H-profile post once panels and rails are installed. The cap is friction-fitted; no fixings required. Inspection annually is worthwhile on exposed sites where strong winds can occasionally dislodge a press-fitted cap.
Care & maintenance
None. Replace if damaged or if the friction fit weakens with age.
