PuraClassic Woodgrain T&G Composite Cladding
PuraClassic Woodgrain is co-extruded T&G composite cladding with an embossed wood-grain surface finish: a textured face that echoes the look and feel of natural timber, giving the cladding genuine warmth and character without the upkeep of real wood. Tongue-and-groove geometry means each board locks into the next for a clean, weather-resistant continuous face with concealed fixings throughout.
Slate Grey is a cool, mid-to-dark grey with a clean, stone-like character. It grounds a contemporary scheme with a calm, neutral tone that sits comfortably alongside render, glazing, and natural stone.
Why woodgrain?
The woodgrain finish is the most natural-looking of the PuraClassic surface options, suited to projects where the warmth of timber is wanted without the maintenance. The embossed grain catches light like real wood and settles comfortably into traditional and garden settings as readily as contemporary ones. It reads as a timber board at a glance while behaving like composite for the life of the cladding.
Where it works
Homes, extensions, garden rooms, and renovations where a natural timber look is wanted on the elevation. The wood-grain texture pairs particularly well with natural stone, planting, and timber detailing, and works equally on full elevations or as a feature panel. On projects where real timber would be the obvious choice but its maintenance is not wanted, the woodgrain board is the natural substitute.
Installation guidance
Battened substrate with proper ventilation cavity, T&G boards locked together along their length and fixed through the tongue with stainless screws into the batten. The PuraClassic installation manual covers batten spacing, fixing patterns, expansion allowances, and detailing at openings.
Care & maintenance
Periodic wash. Slate Grey holds well across the wood-grain surface; the embossed texture catches slightly more dust than a smooth face but rinses cleanly. The PuraClassic care guide covers approved products.
Complete the cladding run
Compatible PuraClassic accessories including matched fixings and finishing components are listed in the related products at the bottom of this page. Order them alongside the boards to keep the project on a single delivery.
