PuraFence Classic Composite Fencing Gate
The matching gate for the PuraFence Classic fencing range, supplied complete with frame and composite slatting in Teak, sized for installation alongside a Classic panel run. The gate carries the same brushed surface character as the panels for a continuous fence line that does not show where the gate sits, and the same long-term composite weather performance throughout.
Teak is a rich, mid-warm timber tone with a hint of red-brown depth, the colour to specify when the project wants the character of mature hardwood without the maintenance.
What you’re getting
A complete gate assembly: composite slats laid up in a metal frame, with hinges and latch hardware sized for the system. The frame is engineered for the gate weight, including the slats themselves, so the gate hangs square and stays square over time without sagging at the latch end. Latch sag is the most common failure mode of self-built composite gates: an undersized frame flexes under repeated cycling until the latch no longer aligns to its keep, at which point the gate stops closing cleanly.
Where it fits
Anywhere the Classic panel run needs an access point: side passages, garden entrances, bin enclosures. The matched aesthetic means the gate reads as an integral part of the fence line rather than an applied feature, which matters most on long uniform fence runs where any visual interruption draws the eye.
Installation guidance
Hung between two PuraFence H-profile posts set to the gate-specific spacing, with the hardware fixed through the post and the latch aligned to the closing post. The PuraFence installation manual covers gate-specific post spacing, hinge fitting, and latch alignment.
Care & maintenance
Wash with warm water and a brush as needed. Hinges and latch hardware should be checked annually and lubricated lightly if access conditions allow. The PuraFence care guide covers approved products.
