PuraFence Composite Fencing
PuraFence composite fencing is our kit-built fence system: co-extruded composite boards that slide into aluminium H-profile posts, for a boundary you never paint. Choose solid PuraFence Classic in four colours or slatted PuraFence Royal in five, each built in 1900 mm bays on a 1.9 m base-plate or 2.5 m in-ground post, with matching composite gate kits. Stocked in our Dublin warehouse and delivered across Ireland.

The PuraFence System
PuraFence is a composite fence you build panel by panel rather than board by board. The boards slide into aluminium H-profile posts, with a slot down each side, so each post holds two panels and every post closes one bay and opens the next. There are no rails or brackets on the face, and nothing to paint or stain, ever.
Every PuraFence board is co-extruded: a composite core wrapped on every face in a polyethylene layer that takes the weather, holds the colour in strong sun and lets dirt wash off. That wrap is what separates PuraFence from uncapped composite, and from timber fence panels, which cost less up front but need oiling to hold their colour. Every part of the system, from the kits and single boards to the gates and posts, is backed by a 20 year manufacturer warranty.
Composite Fencing Kits: Classic or Royal
Both ranges share the same 161×20 mm board size, the same posts and the same kit format. Each kit builds one bay at 1900 mm post centres with 12 boards, one post, a post cap and a base plate, on a 1.9 m base-plate post or a 2.5 m in-ground post. The choice is about the look:
Classic: our core, full-privacy range
PuraFence Classic composite fencing has a flat, brushed face, and the boards interlock into one continuous panel with no gaps. Choose it for privacy on a boundary or side passage. It comes in Teak, Light Grey, Dark Grey and Ebony Black.
Royal: the design-led, slatted range
PuraFence Royal slatted composite fencing has a slatted face, so each bay reads as a run of horizontal lines rather than a wall. Choose it where the fence is on show. It comes in the same four colours plus Cedar, made in Royal only.
Kits, Gates, Boards and Posts
Everything for a PuraFence run is sold alongside the kits, so one order covers the whole boundary:
- Panel kits: one bay each, in every colour of both ranges, with a base-plate post for paved ground or a longer in-ground post to set in concrete.
- Composite gate kits: in every colour of both ranges, flat-pack with the frame, four boards, hinges and latch; you build the frame and cut the boards to fit.
- Single boards: the same 161×20 mm board as the kits, for an odd-width bay, extra height or replacing a damaged board.
- Posts: the extra post that finishes a run and the two that hang a gate, in both the base-plate and in-ground lengths, in our composite fence posts range.
To work out a run, divide its length by 1.9 m and round up for the number of kits, then add one post to finish it and two for each gate. For a timber entrance on a mixed boundary, see our garden gates.
PuraFence in Dublin and Across Ireland
Every PuraFence colour is stocked in our Dublin warehouse and delivered across Ireland. Order the kits, the extra post and any gate together so the whole run arrives at once. For colours, gates, installation and how composite compares with timber, see our full guide to composite fence panels.
Frequently Asked Questions About PuraFence Composite Fencing
Should I choose the base-plate or the in-ground kit?
The 1900 mm base-plate kit suits paved or solid surfaces where you cannot dig. Wherever ground conditions let you dig the posts in, choose the 2500 mm in-ground kit, as it anchors far more securely against wind on exposed Irish sites.
How many PuraFence kits do I need?
Divide the length of the fence by 1.9 m, the width of one bay at 1900 mm post centres, and round up: that is the number of kits. Add one extra post to finish the run and two posts for each gate. A 7.6 m run, for example, is four kits and one extra post.
Can I extend a PuraFence fence later?
Yes. Every post closes one bay and opens the next, so a run grows by adding kits from its last post. Single boards are sold to match an existing Classic or Royal fence exactly, so choose the same range and colour as the fence you already have.
How do I clean composite fencing?
Wash it every 3 to 6 months with warm soapy water and a soft brush. If you use a pressure washer, keep it under 1,500 PSI and at least 300 mm from the surface, and avoid harsh solvents, which can mark the finish. There is no painting, staining or oiling to do.
What warranty does PuraFence have?
PuraFence carries a 20 year manufacturer warranty, and it applies across the system: the panel kits, single boards, gates and posts. Classic and Royal have the same cover, so you can choose between them on looks alone. Keep your receipt somewhere safe once the fence is up.
