PuraFence Classic Composite Fencing Gate

The matching gate for the PuraFence Classic fencing range, supplied as a self-assembly kit in Dark Grey and stocked in our yard for delivery across Ireland, sized for installation alongside a Classic panel run. You build the frame and cut the composite boards to fit, so the finished gate carries the same brushed surface character as the panels for a continuous fence line that does not show where the gate sits, with the same long-term composite weather performance throughout. The composite will not rot, warp, or need repainting, so once the gate is built it asks very little of you.

What’s in the kit

The gate ships flat, not pre-built. You get the frame components, four composite boards, and the hinges and latch hardware, all sized for the gate. Assembly fixings are included, but cutting and building tools are not, so have your own ready. The boards are supplied oversized so you cut them to fit your frame and post spacing on site, and nothing arrives hung, squared, or attached.

Where it fits

Anywhere the Classic panel run needs an access point: side passages, garden entrances, bin enclosures. The matched aesthetic means the gate reads as an integral part of the fence line rather than an applied feature, which matters most on long uniform fence runs where any visual interruption draws the eye.

Installation guidance

Assemble the frame first, then cut the four composite boards to length and fix them to the frame before hanging. Build the frame square and cut the boards accurately, as this is what keeps the latch aligned to its keep over time. The finished gate is then hung between two PuraFence H-profile posts set to the gate-specific spacing, with the hardware fixed through the post and the latch aligned to the closing post. Care & maintenance

Once built, upkeep is minimal. Wash with warm water and a brush as needed, and avoid high-pressure washing above the rated bar and harsh solvents, both of which can mark the surface.
