PuraPro Composite Fascia Board
The matching PuraPro fascia board, sized and toned to finish the perimeter of a PuraPro deck without showing the hollow chamber ends of the deck boards. A composite fascia is the difference between a deck that looks complete and one that looks half-finished at the edges, and it’s the single component most often forgotten on the first order.
Oak carries a warm mid-tan tone, soft enough to feel domestic and substantial enough to hold its own against natural stone. It sits especially well next to sandstone, exposed brick, and cream-rendered walls.
What it does
The fascia board faces the side of the deck substructure, covering the cut ends of the deck planks and the joists behind them in one clean line. It carries the same composite construction as the PuraPro deck boards, the same surface finish, and the same long-term weather performance, so the perimeter ages alongside the deck rather than ahead of it.
Installation guidance
Fixed to the outer face of the substructure with stainless screws into pre-drilled pilot holes. Allow appropriate expansion gaps at joints. Where steps or changes of level are involved, a continuous run looks tidier than mitred corners. The PuraPro installation manual covers fascia detailing alongside the deck-board guidance.
Care & maintenance
Same routine as the PuraPro deck boards: wash with warm water and a brush as needed, no oiling or staining required. The PuraPro care guide applies to the fascia in identical terms.
