Puraboard Solid Composite Bullnose, Rustic Grain
The matching bullnose edge board for rustic-grain Puraboard, profiled with a softened front edge that finishes exposed step nosings, deck perimeters, and changes of level. Solid composite throughout, with the heavier grain texture and Golden Teak tone of the matching deck boards.
Golden Teak is a warm honey-toned timber finish with a subtle orange-gold undertone, brighter than standard Teak and unmistakably warm. It lifts overcast days and reads convincingly as oiled hardwood from any normal viewing distance.
What it does
A bullnose carries a rounded front edge in place of a square corner, removing the sharp 90-degree edge that creates both a stub-toe hazard and a visible sign of unfinished detailing. The rustic grain texture is consistent with the deck boards, so step nosings read as part of the deck rather than an applied finish. Solid construction allows the bullnose to carry structural load where it doubles as a step tread.
Installation guidance
Face-fixed with stainless screws into pre-drilled pilot holes, or bonded with structural adhesive on shorter runs. Maintain expansion gaps at joints. The Puraboard installation manual covers rustic-grain bullnose detailing alongside the refined-grain alternative.
Care & maintenance
