Puraboard Solid Composite Fascia Board
The matching fascia board for Puraboard, sized and toned to finish the perimeter of the deck cleanly without showing the substructure or the ends of the deck planks. Solid composite throughout, in Sandstone, with the same surface character as the deck boards.
Sandstone is a soft, pale warm-cream tone, the natural choice when grey reads too cool. It sits quietly against rendered walls, pale brick, and stone-paved surrounds, and holds its brightness on the overcast days that make up much of the Irish year.
What it does
The fascia faces the side of the deck substructure, covering the cut ends of the deck planks and the joists behind them in a single clean line. With Puraboard, the fascia matches the solid composite construction of the deck itself, so the perimeter ages with the deck rather than ahead of it.
Installation guidance
Face-fixed to the substructure with stainless screws into pre-drilled pilot holes. Allow expansion gaps at joints, and specify continuous runs across long perimeters in preference to mitred corners where possible. Care & maintenance
Same routine as the deck boards: wash and brush as needed, no oiling or staining. The Puraboard care guide applies to the fascia identically.
