PuraFix™ 3mm Hidden Starter Clip
The PuraFix 3 mm hidden starter clip secures the first row of a composite deck, so the opening board is held as firmly and invisibly as every board after it. It comes in a pack of 50, works with our PuraPro, PuraPlus and PuraPrime composite decking, and is stocked in our warehouse for delivery across Ireland.
Compatibility & use
Fix starter clips every 300 mm along the starting edge, as the Pura installation guides set out, then lay the first board into them. From the second board on, switch to the PuraFix 3 mm or 6 mm hidden fasteners, one wherever a board crosses a joist. Drill 3 mm pilot holes for the fixings so the clips sit square and tight.
The Pura warranties are conditional on installing with PuraFix fixings, so use these rather than a generic alternative.
Compare all the options in our decking screws and fixings range.
