Egger Premium White ST9 MFC
Reach for a crisp, clean white with real depth and Egger Premium White ST9 melamine faced chipboard is the answer, stocked in our warehouse for delivery across Ireland. You get a rich, opaque white decor with a smooth ST9 matt face that reads soft and modern rather than clinical, faced both sides onto a stable chipboard core. Each sheet measures a full 2800 by 2070 mm at 18 mm thick for high yield, and a colour matched ABS edging is available so every visible edge finishes as cleanly as the face.
Why Egger MFC?
Melamine faced chipboard gives you a factory finished white that is ready to build with straight away. The fused matt face resists scratches and scuffs and wipes clean in seconds, so a bright white keeps its lift in busy kitchens, wardrobes and office fit outs. Because the decor is factory pressed, the tone stays uniform across every sheet, and a whole set of white units reads as one deliberate design. The 18 mm core stays flat and stable for carcassing and shelving. Like all MFC, treat this as an interior board and keep it clear of persistent moisture.
Installation guidance
A white face shows every mark, so score the line or use a fine tooth TCT blade and support the full sheet during the cut to keep the edge chip free. Assemble with confirmat screws, dowels or your usual cabinet fittings, which grip the core securely. Keep unsupported shelf spans sensible so the board carries its load without bowing, and add a mid support on longer runs. Handle the panels with clean hands and lay offcuts face up, since fingerprints and floor dust show more clearly on white before the units are wiped down.
Finishing & edge care
With the faces already finished, all your attention goes to the edges. Seal every cut edge with our matching Premium White ST9 ABS edging to close off the core and carry the clean white right to the edge. Keep the board dry through storage and use, and treat it as an interior product only. Clean with a damp cloth and steer clear of abrasive pads and harsh solvents that can dull the matt surface or leave visible streaks.
