Egger Beige Textile ST10 MFC
Bring a warm, tactile neutral to your interiors with Egger Beige Textile ST10 melamine faced chipboard, stocked in our warehouse for delivery across Ireland. You get a soft beige decor with an ST10 woven fabric texture that reads like fine linen underhand, faced both sides onto a stable chipboard core. Each sheet measures a full 2800 by 2070 mm at 18 mm thick for high yield, and a colour matched ABS edging is available so every visible edge finishes as cleanly as the face.
Why Egger MFC?
Melamine faced chipboard gives you a factory finished surface that saves time on site and holds up in real world use. The fused, subtly textured face resists scratches and scuffs and wipes clean quickly, so the textile look stays crisp on wardrobes, reception units and office storage. Because the decor is factory pressed, colour and texture stay uniform sheet to sheet, keeping a run of matching units looking deliberate. The 18 mm core stays flat and stable for carcassing and shelving. As with all MFC, treat this as an interior board.
Installation guidance
Protect the textured face as you machine it. Score the line or use a fine tooth TCT blade and support the whole sheet during the cut to keep the edge crisp and chip free. Assemble with confirmat screws, dowels or your usual cabinet fittings, which grip the core reliably. For shelving, keep spans in check so an 18 mm board carries its load without sagging. Run the decor in the same direction on paired parts so the textile weave lines up through the finished unit.
Finishing & edge care
With the faces already finished, focus on the cut edges. Seal every exposed edge with our matching Beige Textile ST10 ABS edging to close off the core and carry the textile look right to the edge. Keep the board dry through storage and use, and treat it as an interior product only. For upkeep, wipe with a damp cloth and steer clear of abrasive pads and strong solvents that could flatten the woven texture or dull the surface.
