Egger Denim Blue ST9 MFC
Bring a rich, wearable blue into your interiors with Egger Denim Blue ST9 melamine faced chipboard, stocked in our warehouse for delivery across Ireland. You get a mid depth denim inspired blue decor with a smooth ST9 matt face that reads soft and grounded rather than sharp, faced both sides onto a stable chipboard core. At a full 2800 by 2070 mm and 18 mm thick, each sheet yields well for feature units, and a colour matched ABS edging is available so the blue continues cleanly around every cut edge.
Why Egger MFC?
Melamine faced chipboard puts a finished colour surface at the core of your furniture with none of the priming and painting steps a strong blue would otherwise need. The fused matt face resists scratches and scuffs and wipes clean in seconds, so a saturated colour keeps its depth in busy kitchens and utility rooms. Factory pressed decor keeps the tone identical from sheet to sheet, which is essential on a colour where any drift would be obvious side by side. The 18 mm core stays flat and stable for carcassing and shelving. Keep in mind this is an interior board.
Installation guidance
Score the line or use a fine tooth TCT blade and support the sheet fully so the face does not chip through the cut. Assemble with confirmat screws, dowels or standard cabinet fittings, which grip the core securely. Keep unsupported shelf spans sensible so an 18 mm board carries its load without bowing, and add a support on longer runs. Run the decor consistently across paired parts so the blue reads evenly through the finished unit.
Finishing & edge care
Faces come finished, so the edges are where you complete the look. Seal every cut edge with our matching Denim Blue ST9 ABS edging to close off the core and carry the colour right to the edge. Keep the board dry through storage and use, and treat it as an interior product only. Clean with a damp cloth and avoid abrasive pads and strong solvents that can leave dull marks against a strong matt blue.
