Egger Alabaster White ST9 MFC
Bring a soft, warm white to your interiors with Egger Alabaster White ST9 melamine faced chipboard, stocked in our warehouse for delivery across Ireland. You get a subtly warm white decor with a smooth ST9 matt face that has just enough cream to feel inviting rather than stark, faced both sides onto a stable chipboard core. At a full 2800 by 2070 mm and 18 mm thick, the sheet yields well for cabinetry, and a colour matched ABS edging is available so the alabaster tone continues cleanly across every edge.
Why Egger MFC?
Melamine faced chipboard gives you a finished panel ready to build with, no priming or painting needed. The fused matt face resists scratches and scuffs and wipes clean in seconds, so a soft white keeps its warmth in kitchens, wardrobes and utility units. Factory pressed decor keeps tone uniform sheet to sheet, which is essential on a subtle warm white where any drift would jump out under changing light. The 18 mm core stays flat and stable for carcassing and shelving. Keep in mind this is an interior board.
Installation guidance
Score the line or use a fine tooth TCT blade and support the whole sheet during the cut to keep the face chip free. Assemble with confirmat screws, dowels or standard cabinet fittings, which grip the core securely. Keep unsupported shelf spans sensible so the board carries its load without bowing, and add a support on longer runs. Handle the panels with clean hands so the warm white face reaches assembly clean and unmarked.
Finishing & edge care
Faces come finished, so the edges are where the detail lives. Seal every cut edge with our matching Alabaster White ST9 ABS edging to close off the core and keep the warm tone unbroken. Store and use the board dry, and treat it as an interior product only. Clean with a damp cloth and avoid abrasive pads and harsh solvents, which can flatten the matt surface or leave marks that show against a soft white.
