Get the clean, cool character of glazed porcelain in a workable panel with Egger Porcelain White ST9 melamine faced chipboard, stocked in our warehouse for delivery across Ireland. You get a bright, neutral white decor with a smooth ST9 matt face that feels calm and contemporary underhand, faced both sides onto a stable chipboard core. At a full 2800 by 2070 mm and 18 mm thick, each sheet yields well for cabinetry runs, and a colour matched ABS edging is available so the finish continues across every edge.
Why Egger MFC?
Melamine faced chipboard gives you a pre finished panel that goes straight from delivery to bench. The fused matt face resists scratches and scuffs and wipes clean quickly, so a cool white stays crisp in kitchens, wardrobes and bathroom furniture units built for dry rooms. Factory pressed decor keeps the tone identical from sheet to sheet, which matters when large flat panels sit next to each other in a finished unit. The 18 mm core stays flat and stable for carcassing and shelving. As with all MFC, treat this as an interior board.
Installation guidance
Cut with a scored line or a fine tooth TCT blade and back the sheet fully so the face does not chip. Assemble with confirmat screws, dowels or standard cabinet fittings, which take a firm hold in the core. Keep unsupported shelf spans sensible so an 18 mm board carries its load without bowing, and add a support on longer runs. Handle the panels with clean hands and stack offcuts face up, since a bright white shows fingerprints and dust more readily than darker tones.
Finishing & edge care
The faces come finished, so your focus is the edges. Seal each cut edge with our matching Porcelain White ST9 ABS edging to close off the core and keep the white unbroken from face to edge. Keep the board dry through storage and use, and treat it as an interior product only. Clean with a soft damp cloth and avoid abrasive pads and harsh solvents so the matt surface stays even and unstreaked.
