How can I return the goods?
If you wish to return products, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. Simply contact us by writing at sales@timberierland.ie and a member of our team will get back to you to discuss the next steps.
Alternatively, by prior arrangement, you may return the goods directly to Timber Ireland. Please note that returns must be authorised in advance and may be subject to handling and transport charges.
Who is responsible for returned goods during transit?
Returned goods remain your responsibility until they have been received by us. This means that you are responsible for ensuring the items are returned safely and can provide proof of return if needed.
For higher-value items, we recommend using an insured delivery service.
When will I receive my refund?
Once a return or cancellation has been approved, we will process your refund as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after receiving the returned goods or proof that they have been returned.
Please note that after a refund has been issued, it may take up to 10 working days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider. Unfortunately, this processing time is outside of our control.
What can I do with a product before I decide to return it?
You are welcome to inspect and unpack a product to assess whether it meets your requirements. However, the product should not be used beyond what is reasonably necessary to evaluate it.
If a returned item shows signs of use, damage, installation, or handling beyond normal inspection, we may refuse the return if the item is no longer suitable for resale. If you are unsure whether a product is right for your project, we recommend visiting our showroom beside Dublin Airport before making your purchase.
If a defect becomes apparent during normal use and you believe it is due to a manufacturing or material fault, please contact our customer service team for assistance.
Can I return goods for a refund or credit?
Returns may be accepted within 30 days of delivery, but only by prior arrangement and at our discretion. Approved returns are subject to a 15% handling charge, and any collection or transport costs incurred in recovering the goods may also be deducted or charged separately. Goods should be returned in a condition suitable for resale.
What happens if I buy a product that is accidentally listed at the wrong price?
While we make every effort to ensure pricing information is accurate, occasional errors can occur. If a product is displayed at an obviously incorrect price due to a pricing, technical, or administrative error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
